It may have taken years, but CSX crossings downtown set to be fixed
It seems like it has taken years, and it has.
But finally-finally-official and legally binding contracts have been signed to get those two rattletrap CSX crossings fixed downtown.
It is almost unbelievable.

North Vernon's Stellar Downtown Facade program is moving along at a good clip, with the masonry work expected to be completed in the next week.
"We're about 90 percent done. That's a good feeling," reports Ken Neely , on-site supervisor for Kemna Restoration and Construction out of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis firm is one of several sub-contractors hired by the local Bradshaw Building Specialties for their expertise in bricks and mortar and stone. "It's pretty cool to come down here and help the store owners restore their buildings," added Neely.
