When Tom Moore retired as a Jennings County Schools teacher a couple of years ago he had no intention of going into business. As a matter of fact, it wasn't something he had even thought about doing. However, a request for financial assistance from a friend who was opening a new business resulted in Moore as owner of Vernon's Ale House. "Even though this wasn't something I'd thought about doing I am enjoying it" said Tom. "It all started by my loaning money to a friend to get the business started." Columbus Regional Health has announced the addition of Dr. William Shuler, M.D. to its active medical staff. Shuler graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. Shuler has joined Emergency Physicians Inc. of Columbus and will practice at the Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Department located at 2400 E. 17th St., Columbus.

Hubbuch graduated from William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, North Chicago, Ill. He completed residencies in podiatry at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Hubbuch has joined the practice of Columbus Foot & Ankle Clinic, 360 Plaza Drive, Suite B, Columbus.
