Eric and Susan Jarboe of North Vernon celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary cruising down the Rhine River on the Viking Kara from Basel, Switzerland, to Amsterdam, Netherlands. Susan Van Poucker married Eric Wayne Jarboe on July 12, 1975, in Belleville, Michigan, in the home church of Eric's late grandfather, Oscar Schulert. An impetus for the cruise was a retirement gift to Eric from the 2013-2014 Jennings County High School Orchestra. Both Eric and Susan Jarboe are retired JCHS teachers. Accompanying the Jarboes on the cruise were family and friends from California, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Georgia. Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Mr. and Mrs. John Morin of Angola celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 13, 2015. Mr. Morin and the former Marjorie Marling were married at Coffee Creek Christian Church in 1955. Mr. Morin first taught at Angola High School and then at Tri-State University (now Trine University) in Angola. The Morins are the parents of four children, Teresa (Harvey) Greenawalt of Philadelphia, PA, Duane Morin of Chicago, IL, Perry (Angie) Morin of Knoxville, TN, and Amy (Sal) Capuccio of Northeast Maryland.
