Cunninghams will be feted on 50th Aug. 11
Allen and Nancy Cunningham will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house given by their children Saturday, Aug. 11, at their home, 1435 S CR 125W, North Vernon.
Mr. Cunningham and the former Nancy Ruark were married August 11, 1968, in North Vernon.
Mr. Cunningham is retired from Cummins Engine Company and his wife has worked at various downtown businesses over the years.
The Cunninghams are the parents of daughters, Angie Cunningham of Columbus and Mandy (Sean) Sullivan of North Vernon. They also have two grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend. No gifts, please.

Kenneth, Georgiana Vest to celebrate 40th
Kenneth and Georgiana Vest of North Vernon will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway.
Mr. Vest and the former Georgiana Adcock were married Aug. 11, 1978, in North Vernon.
They have a daughter, Wendy, of North Ver­non.

Max, Rose Ann Wiley to celebrate 50th
Max and Rose Ann Wiley of Scipio will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Wiley and the former Rose Ann Schafer were married July 20, 1968, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Col­umbus. Father John Minta officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Wiley retired from Cummins Engine Company and his wife retired from the Bar­tholomew Consolidated School Corporation. They attend St. Mary's Catho­lic Church in North Ver­non.
The Wileys are the parents of three daughters, Barb, Jill and Kristin Wiley. They also have four grandchildren.

Joseph, Mary Bott to celebrate golden year
Joseph and Mary Bott of North Vernon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to West Baden and French Lick with their children and grandchildren.
Mr. Bott and the former Mary Johnson were married July 20, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Richard Lyons officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Bott retired from Cummins Engine Company and his wife retired from St. Mary's School. They are both members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The couple are the parents of daughters, Kathy (Jim) Cool of Carmel and Diane (Matt) Bower of North Vernon. They also have two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandchild.

Mike, Connie Ochs to be feted at open house
Mike and Connie Ochs of North Vernon will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house given by their children Sunday, July 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Willow Lake Event Center.
Mr. Ochs and the former Connie Brown were married at Graham Baptist Church in San Jacinto July 14, 1968. Dr. W. H. Dillard officiated the ceremony.
Mr. Ochs is the mayor of North Vernon and his wife is employed at Gina's Pamper Parlor beauty shop.
The couple has three children: Jeremy Ochs and Michelle Owens, both of Columbus, and Chad Ochs of North Vernon. They also have seven grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the celebration.
