Rusty Nail Antique shop opens where else but historic Vernon
The newest store in downtown Vernon is The Rusty Nail Antiques. Located at 43 N. Pike St. across from the Jennings County Courthouse, the store was officially opened with a ceremonial ribbon cutting last week with Vernon Mayor Dan Wright doing the honors.
The Rusty Nail Antiques is owned and operated by Gloria Bennett and Trent Miller. The two friends have long been interested in antiques.
"What better place to have an antique store than in historic Vernon?" Bennett asked. "This is the natural place for this business."
Miller pointed out the quantity of high quality antiques that are stocked in the store.
