The Clionian Society, established in the 1850s and the first organized women's club in Indiana, held its holiday meeting at Stream Cliff Farm in Commiskey in December. In 2018, Danny and Julia Branham were awarded an America's Farmers Grow Communities donation sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. They directed this $2,500 donation to the Jennings County 4-H program. The Branham's were recently recognized on January 19, 2019 at the Show Me the Way 4-H Livestock Workshop and YQCA (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals) Training sponsored by the Jennings County 4-H Livestock Committee.
