Racers take 3 of the top 5 spots in 2nd season
The Black Cat Racing teams at JCHS have really revved up STEM education at the local high school.

Black Cat Racing is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program centered on electric go kart racing initiated by Purdue University in 2015 to expand electric vehicle education into high schools across Indiana. JCHS teacher Braeden Day attended a meeting about the program and decided kart racing would be a great addition at his school. The activity would engage students in STEM while they experienced the thrills of racing karts.
