North Vernon Elementary School is the first elementary school in Jennings County to start a Kiwanis Kids Club.
In a special ceremony on Feb. 26, Vanessa McClary, area director of the Kiwanis Kids, officially presented the charter to school's Kiwanis Kids Club, also known as K-Kids Club. McClary gave a short speech during the ceremony.
The K-Kids Club at North Vernon Elementary School is sponsored by the North Vernon Kiwanis Club.
