Satolli Glassmeyer of History in Our Own Backyard was busy filming locally earlier this month after the Town of Vernon, the county commissioners and North Vernon City Council engaged his Sunman, Indiana company to make videos to use on their web sites and in local schools. Glassmeyer is quite the history buff and says he hopes these very affordable videos, which cost the county $299 each, will inform and educate people about the "hidden treasures" right in their own backyard." Local videos that Glassmeyer will create include the courthouse, the historical society, the county's two covered bridges, the City of North Vernon and the Town of Vernon.-Staff Photo by Barbara King
