The Jennings County Council on Domestic Violence (JCDDV) has released a fact sheet for 2020.
Its board of directors asked Director Katrina Coryell to publicize information in its ongoing efforts to reach out. A Michigan man was arrested after a traffic stop in Jackson County for dealing heroin on Monday, Jan 18.
The investigation began when Senior Trooper Randel Miller conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Kia passenger car traveling southbound on I-65 just north of Seymour. While speaking to the driver, S/Trp. Miller became suspicious that criminal activity was taking place. Wednesday, January 27, 2021
On Tuesday Jan.19, at approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff's Office went to a residence in the Paris Crossing area in an attempt to locate Jennifer Hardesty, age 40 of Paris Crossing, who was wanted on an outstanding Jennings County Felony Warrant.
Upon arrival to her residence, Deputy Thomas Mellencamp made contact with Ms. Hardesty and her husband Wilbur Hardesty, age 40 of Paris Crossing. Wednesday, January 27, 2021
