High profile trial pushed back
Just when local court watchers thought one of the most serious cases on the local docket might be resolved, it is continued...again.
The jury trial for Ryan James Shelley, 28, was set to start Sept. 29. It has now been pushed back to May 11, 2015.
This is the fifth time a date has been set for the trial, with the first date set June 17, 2013 with 4 days reserved.

A jury has convicted Kevin Scott Wang, 46, of four charges while finding him innocent of one.

Rodgers' first trial on child pornography is continued
The Aug. 25 jury trial on one of three felony cases pending against Daniel Freeman Rodgers of NV has now been postponed from Aug. 26 due to his changing attorneys. Brad Johnson will now represent Rodgers in all cases pending against him.

A warrant was issued Wednesday for the arrest of Daniel Freeman Rodgers, 46, for possession of child pornography, a D felony.
