NV officer an Academy graduate
North Vernon Police Officer Shane Trepanier graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy on Friday, February 2. Officer Trepanier was a member of the 213th Basic Training Session hosted by the academy located in Plainfield. After successful graduation, Ofc. Trepanier is certified from the Law Enforcement Training Board as having sufficient knowledge and skill to enforce the law anywhere in the State. "After what seems like a very long 15 weeks, we are glad to have Oficer Trepanier back," said Chief James Webster. "Officer Trepanier completed his 12-week field training program before leaving for the academy so he is ready to begin his normal duties immediately." ISP announces new ddispatch supervisor
Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter has announced the promotion of Indiana State Police Region IV Dispatcher Amanda Lawson to Region IV Dispatch Shift Supervisor at the Versailles Post.
Lawson is a 1993 graduate of South Ripley High School in Versailles. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and also obtained an Associate's Degree from Vincennes University.
