Charges vary from violence to drugs to fraud
Zachary Blake Taylor, 24, is in jail on two charges from 2 incidents involving assaults on the same woman and thefts of her vehicle.
On July 16, he argued with the woman at the library, followed her into the bathroom and allegedly physically assaulted her to take the keys.
He is charged with robbery resulting in bodily injury, an F3 (Level 3 Felony); theft where the value is between $750 and $50,000, an F6; and domestic battery, an A misdemeanor.
In an incident the next day, he allegedly pulled a knife on the woman before taking her car and fleeing from the law. This resulted in charges of robbery resulting in bodily injury and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon, F3s; 2 charges of intimidation, F5s; theft of auto, resisting and strangulation, F6s; and domestic battery. Bond was set at $10,055 full cash.
Initial hearing is set for July 31.
Kayla Leona Hardin, 30, 3666 N Michigan Rd, Osgood has been charged with residential entry breaking and entering, an F6; and criminal mischief, an A misdemeanor. The property manager for 1275 Wildwood Ct found her there and discovered windows were busted out and writing was all over the walls. On March 1, deputies had responded to a call of a woman inside the same home and found Hardin who told them she had "permission" to stay there. At that time, the home was in "good shape."
Joanne Marie Childers, 46, 356 Honeylocust, NV is charged with theft between $750 and $50,000, an F6. She allegedly took a TaoTao moped which was later recovered.
Timothy Lane Crouch, 25, 3639 Atkinson Cir, NV is charged with meth and escape from home detention, F6s; driving while suspended, an A misdemeanor; and paraphernalia, a C. Officers spotted him driving and knew he was suspended.
Dylan Michael Saylor, 27, 3930 Wilderness, Indy, is charged with intimidation, an F6; and invasion of privacy, an A misdemeanor.
James Leslie Earl, 40, 1855 E CR 150 S, NV is charged with battery causing moderate physical injury, strangulation and intimidation, F6s.
Vincent Lee Bruce, 49, 6480 W Hwy 50, NV is charged with battery by bodily waste, an F5; and resisting, an A misdemeanor. Apparently while he was being booked just after midnight, he became very "aggressive", smacking the booking phone on the counter and spilling water. He was handcuffed, put in a restraining chair and ending up spitting in the corporal's face.
Tiffany L. Huff, 37, 156 W Walnut St, NV, possession of a syringe, neglect of a dependent, F6s; and paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor. Officers were called to her home for an overdose and her child was present.
Haley Nicole Kessinger, 19, 329 Honey Locust Pl, NV, 2 counts of forgery, F6s; and theft, an A misdemeanor. The victim said checks were stolen out of his vehicle; Kessinger told officers she found them "by the side of the road." The one check cashed was for $200.
William Harrison Carnahan, Jr., of Columbus, theft with prior, an F6, for allegedly taking a cell phone that was on the counter at the Butlerville Grocery.
Patrick Pennywitt, 34, 1118 Second St, Madison, possession of a legend drug, an F6; and driving while suspended, an A. misdemeanor.
