Former MUTC security guard charged with possession of child pornography, animal cruelty

Ryan Christopher Wilson, 111 Coovert St, Columbus, has been charged with possession of child pornography, and official misconduct of a public servant, L6Fs; and cruelty to an animal, an A misdemeanor.

Wilson worked as a MUTC security guard until Feb. 28, 2019 after an internal investigation concluded having to do with him contributing to a hostile work environment. The investigation began after a co-worker reported Wilson had texted him a pornographic photo of a tattoo depicting an adult man and a baby involved in a sexual act.

The investigation also revealed a variety of other acts Wilson allegedly committed at work, including intentionally running over animals while patrolling the grounds of MUTC.

A jury trial is scheduled for Feb. 10.

Kristin Eugene Smiley, 44, has been charged with child solicitation, an L4F, after a North Vernon Police Officer got on the internet posing as a young girl who was bored. Smiley contacted her, the two continued to text each other with Smiley eventually and allegedly telling her he wanted to meet and have sex.

Nicolas Joe Ezzo, 295 Tiffany Ln, NV is charged with theft where value is between $750 to $50,000 and forgery, an L6F. Ezzo was employed as a bookkeeper at the Plain Dealer & Sun and allegedly stole cash from company deposits.

Kesshia D. Johnson, 25, 4530 N CR 350 W, NV is charged with 2 counts of nonsupport of a dependent child, a D and L6F. From Nov. 2013 through July 2019 he did not pay and is now in arrears of $9955.08.

Steven Scott Hunt, 48, 430 Kessler Blvd, Seymour, is charged with possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance, L6Fs.

Kyle Marcus Taylor, 32, 5530 W CR 800 N, Scipio is charged with battery committed in presence of a child, an L6F.

Jonathan Lee Noel has pled in 3 separate cases, 2 for auto theft and one for theft, all L6Fs. He was sentenced to 360 days on each conviction to be served consecutively to each other. He will spend 360 days/180 actually days on home detention. He must pay restitution to Don Crouse of $316.40 and $800 to Donna Meadows.

Carole J. Geer has pled to conspiracy to deal meth, an L5F, and sentenced to 4 years with 2 years suspended to probation and 688/516 days to be served on home detention.Christopher E. Bott has pled to driving while suspended with prior, an A misdemeanor,, and sentenced to 180 days to be served consecutive to a 2018 L5F case here in Jennings. He was given 2 days credit.
