A man who allegedly poured gas on his ex-girlfriend's porch and threatening to light her home on fire has been charged with arson, an F4; intimidation with a deadly weapon, an F5; theft and auto theft, F6s; and criminal mischief, a B misdemeanor.
James G. Owens, 53, 1994 Keswick Way, NV was apparently upset with his former girlfriend and was also trying to take her car to stop her from seeing other men. Upon arrest, officers located 3 knives in his pockets.
Michael Wayne Bowling, 39, 139 W Walnut St, NV is charged with meth, an F4; and paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor. Items, including 25.8 grams of meth were discovered in a traffic stop.
Two men passed $20 counerfeit bills at the Commiskey Store and are now being charged. Jason Eric Farris, 38, 6020 S CR 400 W, Commiskey and Travis Groce, 38, 2260 N 275 E, NV are both facing theft with prior and counterfeit charges, both F6s, after paying for food items with fake bills. Farris is in jail on no bond while a warrant has been issued for Groce, who will also be held without bail.
