List of recent charges include more drugs, theft, battery and even nudity

Lindsay Michelle Hatton, 24, 209 Sunnyside Dr, NV is charged with possession of meth and syringe, F6s; marijuana, a B misdemeanor; and paraphernalia with prior, an A misdemeanor. Hatton and 2 others were arrested when an officer smelled marijuana when their car pulled up next to his at Selmier's State Forest.

Shawn Hodges, 36, of Hartford City is charged with meth, maintaining common nuisance and operating vehicle with ACE of .08 or +, all F6s.
Charles E. Whitis, 51, 1414 Magnolia Pl, CSL is charged with possession of meth, an F6.

Christopher Matthew Asbury, 26, 220 W Baker St, NV is charged with possession of narcotic drug and syringe, F6s; false informing, a B misdemeanor; and paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor.

Sherri Marie Gardner, 23, 1451 Cedar Knoll Dr, NV and Vanessa L.(Collins) (Gilliam) Scroggins, 54, 3006 Whittington Dr, NV are charged with possession of meth and syringe, F6s; and of paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor. Gardner is also charged with maintaining a common nuisance, an F6, and Scroggins with visiting a common nuisance, a B misdemeanor. The women were together in a car at at the CSL beach when an officer on patrol checked out the vehicle.

Thomas Ray Burton, 30, 2997 Whittington Dr, NV is charged with domestic battery, an F6; and possession of marijuana, a B misdemeanor.

William Robert Brandt, Jr., 53, 3 Westside Ct, NV with operating a vehicle after being adjudicated a habitual traffic offender, an F6; and operating vehicle with a Schedule I or II substance in body, a C misdemeanor.

Several men were arrested and later charged after officers arrived at 716 Country Manor to serve a warrant on Demetrius Ewing, and then obtained a search warrant for the home. Charged are Nicholas Lomax Pindell, 39, 1665 Hollyton, NV, possession of meth and syringe, F6s; and visiting a common nuisance, a B misdemeanor; Zachary McKinney, 20, charged with meth, an F6; visiting a common nuisance, a B misdemeanor; and paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor; and Jovonnie Antonio Mayes, 25, 2755 Dorrey Down Ct, NV charged with theft where value is between $750 and $50,000, meth and syringe, F6s; and visiting a common nuisance, a B misdemeanor. Mayes is also charged in a second case with possession of a syringe after officers went to the same address seeking Ewing. Mayes opened the door and officers noticed a syringe on the table behind him.

Demetrius Ewing, 22, 11 N Elm St, NV was finally located and has been formally charged with auto theft, an F6, for allegedly taking a scooter. It was noticed in his yard after he overdosed and officers arrived at the home and saw it in his yard.

Ryan Andrew Prince, 39, of Hanover is charged with 3 counts of possession or use of a legend drug, F6s; and driving without a license, a C misdemeanor. He was stopped for speeding.

Two men have been charged with meth after a conservation officer checked out a possible stolen vehicle in Vernon. A person at the scene told the officer s(he) saw Kolin Dane McDonald, 57, 299 Vernon St, Vernon, appear to hide something behind a car when the officer arrived. A K-9 arrived and alerted on the vehicle of Kevin Burton, 55, 113 Bay St, NV who was arrested.

Steven F. Scherer, 65, 110 Moir Ave, NV is charged with sexual battery and residential breaking and entering, F6s; public indecency, an A misdemeanor; and public nudity and disorderly conduct, B misdemeanors. He allegedly entered his neighbor's apartment naked.

Travis J. Mason, 31, Seymour, intimidation where threat is to commit forcible entry, an F6. The victim had filed for divorce alleging abuse.
