Charges vary for week

Patrick Thomas Trulock, 44, 2555 Covyshire Cir, NV is charged with theft (from Walmart) with prior conviction of same, an L6F.
Sarah Renee Nantz, 22, 367 S Gum St, NV, is charged with neglect of dependent, an L6F.

At 9 am on May 23, officers were dispatched to Gum St. regarding 2 young children in the road. They were both wearing diapers "sagging to their knees," noted the report. The kids were also dirty and unkempt. The officer checked the area , eventually going to Nantz's home. She told the officer she has 4 children, ages 3, 2, 1 and 4 months. She didn't realize 2 had left the home. DCS was called.

Tammy L. Edwards 52, 661 Beech Rd Cr, NV, is charged with operating a vehicle after being adjudicated a habitual traffic offender, an L6F; operating a vehicle with alcohol concentration of at least .08 but less than .15 and operating intoxicated, both C misdemeanors.

Skyler Edward Aaron Lamb, 19, of Lexington is charged with possession of meth, an L6F; and criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an acident and possession of marijuana, a B misdemeanors.

On May 27, Sgt. Allen Ritchie was sent to CR 500 S in regard to 3 or 4 vehicles that had been in the caller's driveway. The officer came upon Lamb's vehicle, covered in wet mud which he said came from running into a ditch. The officer returned to the caller's home, where there were fresh ruts in the yard that looked like someone ran off the driveway and got stuck.

Lamb failed to appear for his initial hearing. A warrant has since been issued for his arrest with bond at $25,000.

Shelby Hayden Dunlap, 26, 4642 N East Pront Rd, Madison, is charged with battery against a public safety official, an L6F; resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana, both A misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a B misdemeanor. The incident occurred at Twin Cities Speedway and alcohol was involved.

Alan Michael Horning, 22, 304 Hoosier St, NV, is charged with theft, enhanced to an L6F due to a prior conviction of same in 2016 in Shelby Superior Court. He allegedly shoplifted 10 pounds of ground beef and a case of beer from Save-a-Lot.

Braden Wayne Pike, 33, of Seymour is charged with 2 counts of neglect of a dependent, L6Fs; operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating with an ACE of .15 or more, both A misdemeanors. Dispatch informed oficer Kyle Hall that Pike would be leaving the city park and that he was intoxicated and driving with 2 children in the car.

He was stopped for a low light illumination of his license plate and given field sobriety tests. According to the police report, his portable breath test reading was .283.

Matthew Ryan Nelson, 25, of Edinburgh, is charged with possession of meth, an L6F; and driving while suspended, an A misdemeanor. ISP trooper J. May stopped Nelson for not wearing his seatbelt. The K9 was called to the scene and found drugs.

Madeline Carol Dudgeon, 67, 2240 N Totten Cir, NV is charged with unlawful possession or use of a legend drug, an L6F. Officer Shane Trepanier was called to Totten Circle on a report of a confused woman. Dudgeon's grandson told police that he found pills in a botltle under her bed. She had been to the hospital earlier in the day for taking a lot of different medications at one time. The grandson said he saw his grandmother take "another handful of medication" but that he did not know what she had taken.

Tanya Michelle Mann, 43, 2055 N CR 280 E, is charged with theft where the value of the property is between $750 and $50,000, and maintaining a common nuisance, all L6Fs. Tht theft charge was enhanced due to a prior conviction of same in Bartholomew County in Sept. 2016. She allegedly stole Nascar memorabilia of Tony Stewart and of four wheelers and tools from the victim.
