Several warrants have been issued for men not living up to their responsibilities to help care for their offspring.
Most have been charged with 2 counts of nonsupport of a dependent child, a D and L6 Felony, with bonds set at $10,000.
Recent warrants have been issued for:
Joshua Craig, 1100 W Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington. He allegedly failed to provide support from Sept 2003 through May 2017 and now owes $5393.18
Ivan D. Eckles 45, 33309 Avenue T, Fort Pierce, Florida. From Nov 2001 through June 2017 Eckles allegedly failed to pay support and now owes $43,722.18
Ricki Alan Owens, 33, 30 Sunset Ct, Hamilton, Ohio. He allegedly failed to pay support from July 2005 through June 2017 and is in arrears in the amount of $27,145.92.
Owens has also been charged in a second felony case involving a different child. In this case, he did not pay child support from Sept. 2010 through June 2017 and now owes $12,650.75
Bond for this case was set at $20,000 in addition to the first $10,000 bond.
William J. Crouch , 37, 2401 Indiana Ave, Columbus. From May 2008 through June 2017 he allegedly failed to pay child support and now owes $1936.
Billy Joe Fletcher, Jr. 22, 5275 S CR 350 E, Commmiskey. The prosecutor alleges that from Aug 1996 through June 2017 he failed to provide support and owes $8613.93.
James William Manis, 27, 371 Honey Locust Pl, NV is charged with one count of nonsupport, an L6. Allegedly, he did not fulfill his obligation from May 2015 through June 2017 and now owes $6697.
Warrant issued bond at $10,000.
Enrique Garcia, 32, 1931 Wallace Ave, Columbus. Allegedly, from Nov. 2007 through June 2017 he failed to support his children and owes $3415.76. Other Warrants
Michael Brett Osbourne, 51, 5620 E CR 675 N, Butlerville is charged with 3 counts of failure to register as a sex or violent sexual offender, all L6Fs.
State parole agent Elston Boldery advised the JCSD he had gone to check on Osbourne at his listed Butlerville address and learned that the parolee had moved to Madison. He telephoned Jefferson County and left a message for Osbourne to get in touch. However, he never called.
Eight days later, the parole agent called back and was told Osbourne was now living in Aurora.
A warrant was issued on June 28.
Shandie Nichole (Johnson) Patterson, 28, 3006 Whittingham Dr, CSL and Dennis C. Johnson, 34, 2887 Brandywine Dr, NV are both wanted for theft, an L6F, both of which were enhanced due to previous convictions for same.
Officers were called to Circle K Marathon for alleged thefts of snack food. Both bonds at $10,000.
Courtney Dawn Hutter, 21, 1481 Marble Rd, Versailles, is charged with battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and intimidation where threat is to commit forcible felony, both L6Fs; domestic battery, an A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a B misdemeanor. An argument started when her stepfather told Hutter that if she was going to live with him and his wife at their JC home, she needed to get a job. According to the police report, she became angry, threatened to kill him and then picked up a hammer and started swinging it around eventually throwing the hammer. It hit a wall and then fell on the stepfather's foot, resulting in a foot fracture. She then moved to Versailles to live with another relative.
