8/18/2014 1:30:00 PM Reps appointed to pursue wrongful death lawsuits
Two individuals have been appointed by Judge Jon Webster for the purpose of pursuing wrongful death suits. Lenora L. Robbins has been formally appointed personal representative of the estate of Jeremy Moore, her son, who was shot and killed Sept. 9, 2013 by Donald Williams, stepfather of Moore's live-in girlfriend. Moore and his girlfriend were the parents of a four-month-old daughter at the time of his death. Jennings County prosecutor Alan Marshall ruled the shooting self-defense after reviewing available evidence. In the second suit, Tiffany Shelton of Brownstown will apparently pursue a wrongful death action stemming from the death of her mother, Deborah Joann Shelton, 54. Mrs. Shelton drowned July 23, 2014 after the car she was driving was rear ended by April M. Sidwell, 25, of Columbus, causing her Explorer to plunge into a pond along State Rd. 7.
