Convictions result of pleas

Stefan Tyler DeHaven, 17, has pled guilty to theft, an A misdemeanor, and sentenced to 1 year in the JC Jail with credit for 30 actual days served with the balance suspended and probation for 10 months, which includes 35 hours of community restitution.
Michael D. Webb, 37, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. He is sentenced to 2 years at the DOC with credit for 10 actual days with the balance suspended and probation for 24 months. As part of probation, he was ordered to complete the "Thinking For A Change" program at his cost. He must also complete 40 hours of community restitution.
Sherida Olivia Taylor has pled guilty to the charge of battery by body waste, a C felony and sentenced to 3 years at the DOC to be served consecutively to a 2012 C felony with credit days assessed in that case. As part of the deal, she must pay restitution to the IN Public Employee of $986.17 within 6 months of release.
Bud A. Campbell, 42, has pled guilty to theft, a D felony and sentenced to the DOC for 18 months to run concurrently to a B felony in another county.
William Keith Bunch, 47, has pled guilty to operating his motor vehicle as a habitual traffic violator, a C felony. In considering the pre-sentence report, the judge concluded the aggravating factors outweighed the mitigating ones. Specifically, Bunch has 7 prior felony convictions and 6 prior misdemeanor convictions; has an active warrant from Washington County and previously failed to appear for sentencing in this case.
He was sentenced to 8 years at the DOC to be served as follows:
6 years executed, with credit for 95 actual days with 2 years suspended and probation for 24 months.
The sentence will be served consecutively to a C felony case in another county.

Helen J. McCammon, 61, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of meth, a C felony and is sentenced to 4 years at the DOC with 10 months executed with credit for 160 actual days with 38 months suspended and probation for 38 months

Shannon Gayle Colwell, 38, has pled guilty to domestic battery in presence of a minor, a D felony, and sentenced to 1 year at the DOC to be served as follows: 2 months executed with 31 actual days credit with 10 months suspended and probation for 10 months

Donald L. Smith, 62, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of marijuana with prior conviction, both D felonies. He is sentenced to the DOC as follows:
On the meth charge: 3 years to be served consecutively to the marijuana charge.
On the marijuana charge: 3 years to be served consecutively to the meth charge.
Smith has been recommended for purposeful incarceration/CLIFF program and if it is success completed, he would be subject to consideration for sentence modification.
His prior conviction justified the imposition of a sentence in excess of advisory sentence, said the judge.

Denver A. Gifford, 30, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of meth, a D felony and is sentenced to the DOC for 1 year to be served consecutively to the case below. Credit days were awarded in that case.
This is case 40C01-1310-FD-299.
Gifford admitted he violated probation in his sentence for burglary, a B felony. His suspended sentence is revoked and he will spend 4 years at the DOC, to be served consecutively to the case above. He was given 110 days credit.

Kathy Jo Mauk, 50, has pled guilty to residential entry, a D felony, and criminal mischief, an A misdemeanor.
She was sentenced to Residential entry: 3 years with 4 months executed with 69 actual days credit for the residential entry conviction and given 180 days for criminal mischief.
The sentences are to be served concurrently to one another, with the balance suspended and probation for 32 months.

Gerald Andrew Branam, 26, has pled guilty to criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, a C felony and sentenced to the DOC for 4 years with credit for 191 actual days.

Kenneth Leon Wilson, Jr., 39, has pled guilty to criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, a D felony, and sentenced to the DOC for 180 days with credit for 89 actual days

Jeff Lee Kilgore, 36, has pled guilty to criminal conversion, an A misdemeanor, and sentenced to 1 year in the local jail with credit for 1 actual day with the balance suspended and probation for 1 year.

Richard Harold Michael, 44, has pled guilty to conspiracy to commit escape and sentenced to the DOC for 2 years to be served consecutively to a 2011 B felony and a 2010 B felony.

Ermine Denver Gifford, 63, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of meth, a D felony, and sentenced to the DOC for 3 years. He is recommended for purposeful incarceration for treatment of substance abuse. If he successfully completes the CLIFF program, he is subject to consideration for sentence modification and/or reduced by the court.
Gifford was also found to have violated terms of his probation and suspended sentence and sentenced to the DOC for 545 days on a conviction for unlawful possession of marijuana with prior conviction, a D felony. He was given credit for 153 actual days. His sentence will be served consecutively to above charge.

Scott Allen Stokes, 47, has pled guilty to criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, a D felony, and sentenced to the DOC for 1 year to be served consecutively to the charge below with the sentence suspended and probation for 12 months
Stokes also pled guilty to unlawful possession of a legend drug, a D felony, and sentenced to the DOC for 3 years: 18 months to be executed with 188 actual days credit to be served consecutively to the above case. He will be on probation for 18 months and was ordered to seek treatment at Maverick Addiction Services.


Clarence Thomas Philopot, Jr. 33,has pled guilty to strangulation, a D felony, and sentenced to 545 days at the DOC to be served 6 months executed with 85 actual days credit and 12 months suspended and probation for 12 months
Aspart of the deal, he must complete the Domestic Batterer Intervention Program through the Life Recovery Center.

Robert Brian Cowan, 39, has pled guilty to strangulation, a D felony, and is sentenced to 2 years at the DOC with 6 months executed and credit for 96 actual days spent in the local jail with 18 months suspended and probation for 18 months. He was ordered to complete the Domestic Batterer Intervention Program through the Life Recovery Center.


Casonya J. Allen, 37, has pled guilty to theft, a D felony, but will be entered as an A misdemeanor as part of the plea deal. She is sentenced to 1 year in jail with credit for 6 actual days and balance suspended and probation for 12 months.
As part of the plea, she must pay restitution to Country Squire Lakes Community Association of $34,425.07 within 11 months.
