PUBLIC RECORD November 24, 2015

7/8/2013 12:38:00 PM
Recent charges revolve around drugs and thefts

Charlene Danielle Keen, 25, 438 S Tanglewod Rd, Versailles is charged with possession of a controlled substance (Clonazepam) and unlawful possession or use of a legend drug (Clindamycin and Naproxen), both D felonies; and possession of paraphernalia (spoon with residue, digital scales, and corner cut baggies), an A misdemeanor.
According to the police report, an employee at Dollar General thought she saw Keen place an item in her purse and called the police to report a shoplifter. When the officers arrived and questioned Keen about the incident, she stated she understood their concerns as she had placed an item on top of her purse while shopping. When the officers searched the purse, they noticed a pink cloth pouch with a metal handle sticking out that appeared to be a spoon.
Through their training, officers know that spoons can be used for drugs. They then held Keen until they could verify whether or not the spoon was paraphernalia. The officers did not find any stolen property from Dollar General in Keen's purse.
Keisha Rae Clark, 23, 4315 S CR 350 W, NV is charged with theft of Michelle Bustle's 1999 Dodge Durango, a D felony. A warrant has been issued for her arrest with bond set at $10,000.
Charles S. Ellis, 25, 352 Wichser Ave, Indianapolis is charged with theft of 2 sub woofers from Walmart, a D felony.
According to the police report, Ellis selected the items from the store floor and returned them at the customer service desk for a full cash refund.
Brandi Jo Isbell, 38, 2300 Buckingham Dr, NV is charged with unlawful possession or use of a legend drug (Carisoprodol) and of possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), both D felonies.
Police were called to JayC after an employee reported a female allegedly behaving oddly and possibly on drugs.
Christopher Orlando May, 23, 4755 S CR 200 E, NV is charged with theft of starting fluid, can of paint, motor oil, and jeans from Wal-Mart, a D felony, and criminal trespass, an A misdemeanor.
