Defendants opt for plea deals over a trial

Aaron Joseph Mason has pled guilty to 3 charges: possession of 2 or more chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture, a D felony, for which he was sentenced to 2 years with 64 days credit to be served consecutive to a 2007 C misdemeanor case and concurrently to the other two charges in this case;
Count 2: false informing, a B misdemeanor, for which he received a 1 year suspended sentence; and
Count 3: visiting a common nuisance, a B misdemeanor, for which he received 180 days in the local jail.
All are to be served consecutively to a 2007 C misdemeanor case. He will serve the 2 years through the Jackson-Jennings Community Corrections.
Julia Henry, 21, has pled guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a C misdemeanor, and is sentenced to the JC Jail for 60 days, with 48 days suspended, with credit for 2 days, to serve 8 days.
Joseph Crumpton, 28, has pled guilty to operating with an ACE greater than .15 and is sentenced to 365 days in the JC Jail, with credit for 22 days served, with 343 days suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 12 months.
Clarence Howard, Jr, 47, has pled guilty to resisting law enforcement, originally a D felony but reduced to an A misdemeanor, and is sentenced to one year in the JC Jail, with credit for 2 days, and the balance suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 12 months.
Patrick James Gettys, 52, has pled guilty to habitual traffic violator, a D felony, and is sentenced to 2 years with the INDOC, with credit for 3 days, with the balance suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 24 months.
Jacqueline F. Shadday, 41, has pled guilty to conversion, originally a D felony but reduced to an A misdemeanor, and is sentenced to 1 year in the JC Jail, with credit for 2 days, with the balance suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 12 months.
Steven Bowling, 52, has pled guilty to unlawful possession of paraphernalia, originally a D felony but reduced to an A misdemeanor, and is sentenced to 1 year in the JC Jail, with credit for 10 days, with the balance suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 12 months.
David Allen Flaminio, 40, has pled guilty to operating as habitual traffic violator, a D felony, and sentenced to 18 months at the INDOC, with the balance suspended provided compliance with all terms of probation for 18 months.
Richard D. Woodward has pled guilty to dealing meth, a B felony, and sentenced to the DOC for 6 years with 314 credit days.
Ian Gregory Wilds, 34, has pled guilty to theft, a D felony and sentenced to 18 months at the DOC with 6 months executed and credit for 80 actual days in the JC Jail. The balance is suspended and he will be on probation for 12 months and must stay off Goecker Supplies' property.
Ernest D. Armstrong, Jr., 36, has pled guilty to false informing, a B misdemeanor, and is sentenced to 180 days in the local jail with credit for 11 actual days. He must serve an additional 10 actual days on weekends by July 14, 2013.
Armstrong was originally charged with a D felony.
Ricky Dwayne Wood II, 18, has pled guilty to conversion, an A misdemeanor, and sentenced to l year in jail with 3 actual days credit with balance suspended and probation for 12 months. He must stay off Walmart properties.
He was originally charged with a D felony.
William Keith Collins, Jr., 43, has pled guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor, a D felony, and sentenced to 18 months at the DOC with the sentence suspended and probation for 12 months.
As part of probation, he must complete 35 hours of community restitution.
Joshua Alan Burton, 21, has pled guilty to theft, a D felony, and sentenced to 18 months at the DOC with 3 days credit with the balance suspended and probation for 12 months. As part of probation, he must stay off Walmart premises and complete 70 hours of community restitution.
