100+ get early jump on football season
Although there were fewer campers in attendance this year than last, Jennings County High School head football coach Dustin Roller admits he was still pleased with the attendance at the 2014 Panther Nation Youth Football Camp the week of July 14-18.
"There were other camps going on at the same time so I felt fortunate that we had that many campers," Roller said. "It is always difficult to have more than one camp at the same time."

Bryson Mills earns All-Conference as an IU-Southeast freshman
Jennings County High school alumni and current IU-Southeast team member Bryson Mills represented his college at the NAIA tennis national competition in Mobile, Alabama.
The Grenadiers qualified by upsetting Asbury College in the conference championship 5-4. In that match, Mills defeated Deuce Gibson, "conference freshman of the year," 6-3, 6-1.

Fun at Lady Panther hoops camp
Girls in kindergarten through ninth grade had the opportunity to participate in the Lady Panther basketball camp going on this week at the Jennings County High School. Head coach Carrie Manowitz, her staff and members of the Lady Panther basketball team worked with the campers on basic drills along with offense and defense plays.
