Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area shooting range open
All Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fish & Wildlife Area (FWA) shooting ranges, excluding the one at Tri-County FWA, resumed normal operating hours on Thursday, March 19.
That includes the range at the Crosley Fish & Wildlife Area. Crosley's hours for rifle and handgun shooting are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The archery range is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
All FWA ranges were closed Wednday, March 18, as staff take extra precautions to sanitize facilities amid coronavirus concerns.
Tri-County FWA will remain closed until at least March 24.
"The DNR wants to provide Hoosiers with outdoor activities they can do amid concerns about the coronavirus, and is doing its best to ensure the safest possible environment for visitors to FWAs," said Brad Feaster, Office of Public Lands Assistant Director, DNR's Division of Fish & Wildlife.
