The article "Home delivery of meals ending," which was published in the Plain Dealer on Nov. 5, contained a number of errors.

No homeowner association
When Mike Miller took over as receiver of Country Squire Lakes' Community Association, the homeowner association ceased to exist.

Extreme action' at Country Squire
In my recent letter to the editor ("CSL resident's pride is hurt," Nov. 5), I mentioned that if you throw all the garbage into Country Squire Lakes instead of North Vernon or the county's back yard, you're going to have the greatest amount of crime in CSL.

Hoping newly elected do a better job
The election is over and the people have spoken. And we can all hope that the citizens of North will be heard this time.

Stellar, U.S. 50 bypass show lack of common sense
The Stellar Plaza area is not attractive, it ruined Dave O'Mara's building and it took away parking spaces. After all he has done for the community and provided jobs for many people, I don't blame him for wanting to leave North Vernon.

Meat, cigarettes and cancer
Thank you to the World Health Organization (WHO) for having the courage to speak truth to power: meat, like cigarettes and asbestos, does cause cancer! No U.S. health agency would ever say this for fear of losing Congressional funding.

An Ode to Trees
A tree is a beautiful thing to behold
In summertime or winter when the climate is cold.

Bigfoot incidents not just in Crosley
In keeping the Halloween story of the Crosley Monster (The Sun, Oct. 27) and reading the expert's knowledge of Bigfoot evidence, facing ridicule and laughter I will relate these incidents that occurred many and not-so-many years ago.

CSL resident's pride is hurt
I saw the auction sign at the entrance of Country Squire Lakes for all of CSL's equipment to be sold. I know this has to happen under receivership.

Choices have consequences
This is in response to the letter to the editor headlined "A very sad case" (Oct. 22).

Thanks NV mayor, council
I am surprising myself by writing this thank you letter since I am a longtime Republican resident of North Vernon.

Help and support addicts, but don't enable them
This is to the "Grieving Grandma" of the addicted loved one. (Re: "How does a family member cope?", Oct. 1).

Taxing by overregulation
I just read an article about the forced shutdown of a Hoosier Energy power plant began commerical operation in 1970 and has operated efficiently and safely for 40 years.

Law firm caught lying again
You do know that the law firm that represents Kim Davis (the controversial Casey County, Ky., clerk) has been caught lying time and time again, do you not? (Re: "Shame on writer, Esquire magazine," Oct. 15.)

A very sad case
Last week I met a very nice lady who said she was working as part of her community restitution.
Wednesday, October 21, 2015

Let's look forward
I agree, Janet. (Re: "New vision needed for North Vernon," Oct. 15.) If the city fathers don't start looking forward, we will continue to wallow in the past.

Shame on writer, Esquire magazine
"Pope Francis' Kim Davis Visit Is the Dumbest Thing He's Ever Done" is a headline in Esquire magazine that caught my eye. I seldom read Esquire because it has a left bias and is basically a liberal rag when it covers political stories.

Constant struggle for drug addicts
This is to the "Grieving Grandma," whose letter to the editor was in the Oct. 1 issue of the Plain Dealer, and to everybody else dealing with a methamphetamine addict.
