Travel Advisory - Level Orange
Gov. Holcomb to extend Stay at Home through May 3.

The Jennings County Commissioners and officials from North Vernon and Vernon announced today that the travel status will be upgraded from yellow to orange, effective at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 4.
This means Jennings County residents will be restricted to essential travel only and will be limited to driving to and from work or in the event of an emergency situation.
Emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.
Jennings joins more than 20 other counties with the Level Orange status. Jefferson county is one of eight counties that have put Level Yellow status into effect.
Decatur and Marion counties, so far, are the only two counties that are at Level Red, in which travel is restricted to emergency management workers only, according to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
Gov. Eric J. Holcomb said today that the Stay at Home order for Hoosiers will be extended Monday until Sunday, May 3. He adds that President Trump has OK'd his request to issue a major disaster declaration for all 92 counties.
