On Friday, March 9, the sophomore class at Jennings County High School hosted a fundraiser with hypnotist TJ Rivers in charge of the fun, In his second appearance this school year, Rivers continued to make volunteers from the audience the stars of the show.

The Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter offers free education for families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Topics range from the basics of Alzheimer's and dementia and how to identify the 10 warning signs to legal and financial planning and how to communicate throughout the various stages of the disease.

SICA holding Family Canvas paint event
Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will be hosting a Paint the Town social painting experience at the studio workshop on Sunday, April 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will be painting a 10x20 canvas with their family's names. Various color choices will be available. The canvas can be completed with a family picture. The finished piece would be a great addition to any family room or as a gift.
