Mother Nature hails river sweepers
On a 40-degree Saturday morning in April, 50 members of the Friends of the Muscatatuck River Society met at the Vernon Commons for the 18th year in succession, with the 10 most recent boasting the moniker Kevin's Klean-Up honoring late former president Kevin Jayne. They gathered to rid the river of rubble strewn by less informed or unfortunate souls.
