Rekindling hope and light in the darkness
This Christmas season is a reminder of the Hope that we have in Jesus.
A prophet named Isaiah, roughly 700 years before the birth of Jesus, declared the sad condition of the world in Isaiah 60:2. "Darkness covers the earth and a deep darkness is over the peoples."
The world would walk in that darkness for more than half a millennium awaiting the birth of our Savior.
Some people unnecessarily live in that darkness yet today.
It is tragic for a person to live in darkness when they could live in the light.

Poet: '... only God can make a tree'
The other day I thought about years ago when I was a grade school student. Our teacher wanted us students to memorize a poem.
The author was Joyce Kilmer who wrote the famous lines: "I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree, a tree who in summer wears a nest of robins in her hair."

Bird sighting lifts spirits
One cloud covered the
sky when I looked out my
bedroom window one morning.
One cloud, a huge gray
blanket extending to the
horizon in every direction,
and beyond. It set my mood
for the day.

normal. If you are going to

the least I can do!
