New Bethel News
Pastor Connie Barr's Sept. 8 message title was "Jesus Said, 'pick up your cross and follow me daily,'" taken from scripture base Mark 15:21. The message was about Simon during the Passover and Pilot who was a people pleaser and sent Jesus to the cross for crucifixion instead of the guilty prisoners. As Christians paint the picture mentally, we will all realize we are the guilty ones in daily living. We need to realize the greatest gift we can give our children is a legacy in love for Jesus Christ.
