Delbert A. Riddle, 87 ministered at Scipio
Delbert A. Riddle, 87, of Petersburg, Indiana, formerly of Scipio, passed from this life at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

Mr. Riddle was born July 10, 1933, in Adair County, Kentucky, the loving son of the late Chester B. and Mintie Davis Riddle. On November 27, 1965, Delbert married Mary Margaret Rafferty; she preceded him in death May 6, 2012.

Jennifer Renae Irwin, 47, of North Vernon died Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11:04 a.m. at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Bro. Brian Schulz officiating. Interment will follow at Dupont Cemetery in Dupont. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of services Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Marilyn Louise Petty, 91, of Rushville, formerly of North Vernon, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021, at the home of her daughter in Rushville.

Funeral services were Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral. Rev. Connie Barr officiated. Burial was at Grandview Cemetery in Madison. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Masks are mandatory; only 25 people will be allowed in the event center at a time.

Velma Irean Peacock, 87, of Columbus died at 6:02 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

No service will be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Peacock was a 1953 graduate of Paris Crossing High School and worked in the office for 3M in Hartford City, retiring after 26 years. She enjoyed reading, nature, birdwatching, and flowers.
