Patricia "Diana" Green, 82, of North Vernon died at 5:27 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Tea Creek Baptist Cemetery.
Ms. Green was co-owner of Goodies to Go and worked as a DST/Supervisor for 35 years at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville. She was a member of Tea Creek Baptist Church, North Vernon Farmers' Market and, when she was younger, a 4-H Leader. Ms. Green loved spending time with her granddaughter and rescuing animals. She also loved the children she cared for at Muscatatuck as well as gardening, bird watching, and watching professional wrestling.
Born May 15, 1936, in North Vernon, Ms. Green was the daughter of Edwin Law and Ella Gene Thomas Green.
Survivors include a son, Tyrone "Ty" Green of North Vernon and granddaughter, Lydia Baker of Columbus.
Ms. Green was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Rheta Green and Anita Sue Broyles.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Special Olympics.

My cousin Diane was one of the hardest working, most fun people I have ever known. Her love for her son and granddaughter filled her heart to over flowing. I will always remember her for her laughter and generous nature. My love and prayers go out to Ty and Lydia.
