Kirby Leigh Dunigan, 27, of Indianapolis, formerly of North Vernon, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Marcus Speer officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday, May 5, 2017, from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services Saturday, May 6, 2017. Burial will be in the Scipio Cemetery in Scipio.
Mrs. Dunigan was a 2008 graduate of Jennings County High School and graduated June 22, 2013 as a Medical Tech. She was a homemaker and enjoyed softball and spending time with her family.
Born April 25, 1990 in Columbus, Mrs. Dunigan was the daughter of Keith and Michelle Olds Smith. She married Kenneth Joseph Dunigan March 6, 2010 at the Jennings Church of Christ in North Vernon. He survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Ethan Scott Dunigan of Indianapolis; daughters, Grace Elizabeth and Kendal Leigh Dunigan, both of Indianapolis; her parents of North Vernon; sisters, Kelsey (Kyle) Sutton and Alicia (Dave) Ellis, both of North Vernon, and Kensley (Justin) Ashcroft of Elizabethtown; and grandmother, Janice Olds of North Vernon.
Mrs. Dunigan was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph Huston, LaVerne Smith, and Merrill Eugene Olds.
