Dr. Thomas P. Dugan, 83 practiced medicine in C'bus for over 50 years
Dr. Thomas P. Dugan, 83, of Columbus died at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, March 11, 2017, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Burial was at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Carmel. Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus was entrusted with arrangements.
Dr. Dugan completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University and received his medical degree from Indiana University. He had been a medical doctor at Doctor's Park Family Medicine in Columbus and had been a physician for over 50 years. Dr. Dugan was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and loved music and sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds.
Born March 3, 1934, in North Vernon, Dr. Dugan was the son of Michael J. and Margaret A. Clark Dugan. He married Barbara J. Vogel September 28, 1957. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include sons, Michael (Sara) Dugan of Bradenton, Florida, Gregory (Andrea) Dugan of Zionsville, Paul (Mary) Dugan of Carmel, and Joseph (Moira) Dugan of Indianapolis; daughters, Anne (Jim) Colling of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Harvey of Carmel, and Dr. Margaret (Jeff) Workman of Greenwood; and 27 grandchildren.
