Warren Laufer, 67, of Commiskey died Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Funeral services were Saturday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison with Rev. Irmal Elliott officiating. Interment took place at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Mr. Laufer was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He and his wife started the Dupont Little League in the 1980. He loved the 49ers, reusing old treasures, and his farm.
Mr. Laufer was born May 2, 1947, in Patterson, New Jersey, the son of Joseph Paul and Charlotte Joan Fehrer Laufer. He married Carolyn Louise Rowell and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include sons, Warren (Vicky, Jamie (Jaime),
and Jeremy (Amanda) Laufer; grandchildren, Dalton, Erin, Layne, Emma, William and AnnaBelle; siblings, Barbara (Bob) Wade of Novato, California, Cindy (Tommy) Dorsey of Richmond, Virginia, Chuck )Sandra) Laufer of Dunnsville, Virginia, Nancy (Frank) Hartsoe of Chester, Virginia, and Janie (John Hyder of Johnson City, Tennessee.
Mr. Laufer was preceded in death by his parents.
