Helen F. Taylor, 93, of Indianapolis died Thurs-day, May 22, 2014.
services were Wednes-day at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Green-wood with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Paris Crossing High School with the Class of 1941. She worked at Camp Atterbury during WWII as a nurse. She also worked at Noblitt and Sparks in Columbus. Mrs. Taylor was an avid bowler and she loved to garden and spend time with her family.
Born February 6, 1921 in Valley View, Kentucky, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Frank R. and Della Ree Rhodus Hendrix. She married Wesley I. Taylor October 11, 1947. He died May 10, 2011.
Survivors include her son, Wesley D. (Toni) Taylor; daughters, Priscella (Gene) Rund and Sheila (Phil) Roberts; grandchildren, Heather (Dennis) Glover, Patrick (Shannon) Roberts and Stephani Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Gabe.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Leonard and William Ray Hendrix.
