Martie D. J. Wynn, 18, a 2012 Seymour HS grad

Martie Deanna Jean Wynn, 18, of Medora died Saturday, October 20, 2012 in an automobile accident in Medora.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia with Denny Temple officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will take place at the Weddleville Cemetery.

Miss Wynn, a 2012 graduate of Seymour High School, was a cashier for Walmart in Seymour and was a student at IU Southeast in New Albany. She loved John Deere tractors, Chevy trucks, Mud bogs, and anything that had to do with water.

Born February 11, 1994 in Salem, Miss Wynn was the daughter of Tom and Sylvia Emmons of Medora and Ronnie and Carrie Sidwell of Elizabethtown.

In addition to her parents, Miss Wynn is survived by her boyfriend, Andrew Schuler; brother, Chris Clayton of Seymour; sisters, Megan Wynn of Brownstown, Megan Miller of Elizabethtown and Kayla Miller of North Vernon; stepsisters, Angela Emmons of Medora and Tonya Lynch of Carmel; grandmothers, Brenda Wynn of Freetown, Laura Richwine of Anderson and Linda Swengel of Elizabethtown; nephews, Landon Cottey, Levi Emmons, Owen Lynch Tayven and Trevin Davis; nieces, Abigail Williams, Avery Kegan and Victoria Marshall and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers, David Swengel and Calvin Johnson.

Memorials may be given to the funeral home for expenses.

Martie was my cousin and I loved her. She was headed to my house when this happened. I am 15 now, so I don't remember her much but I do miss her.
