James Allen Sidwell, 26, liked to make people laugh
James Allen "Cory" Sidwell, 26, of Columbus, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, in Columbus.
Mr. Sidwell was a former factory worker. He enjoyed working out and using his humor to make people laugh.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington St., Columbus, with Nathan Goen officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
Born Sept. 5, 1983, in Columbus, he was the son of James K. and Paula Y. Brown Sidwell.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, James K. and Laura Sidwell of Columbus; his mother, Paula Y. Brown of North Vernon; a grandmother, Joyce Brown of Taylorsville; two sisters, Yvonne D.G. Sidwell and Debrah L.L. Sidwell, both of Columbus; a brother, Kenneth E.C. Sidwell of Columbus; and two stepbrothers, Abraham Dooley and Aaron Taylor, both of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Chester and Sue Sidwell and Bernie Brown.
