Paul Acree, 67, of Seymour, died Friday, February 12, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
A walkthrough visitation will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5-7 pm.
Funeral Services will be at Foster, Toler, Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, Kentucky at 2 pm CST on Friday, February 19, 2021. Visitation will be from 12pm until time of service. Burial will follow at Coffey Cemetery, Kentucky.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required as well as social distancing within the building. Cards and notes of condolence are most welcome.
Mr. Acree was a member of the First Church of God and an Army veteran. He retired from CSX Railroad (formerly Baltimore & Ohio Railroad) after 38 years of dedicated service.
Paul was born in 1953 in Fry, Kentucky to the late Lucian Acree and Lula Mae (Richards) Acree.
Mr. Acree is survived by his sons, Josh (Leighann Mitchell), Jason (Destiny), Bradley (Molly) and Adam (Rachael) Acree; grandchildren Gavin Hurley, Noah and Shealynn Acree; step-grandchildren Kurt Austin and Jordan Cone; sisters Rose Mae Pruitt and Mary Lou Derrick.
Mr. Acree was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, George, Frank and David Acree; sisters, Christine Pickett, Katherine Kemp and Noami Leavelle.
