Malcomb Ray "Mack" DeCamp, 85, of North Vernon died at 8:05 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at his residence.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Mr. DeCamp was a 1954 graduate of North Vernon High School and worked maintenance for Pilot Industries for several years before retiring in 2005. He had also worked 25 years at Arvin Industries. Mr. DeCamp enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Born December 26, 1935, in Brewersville, Mr. DeCamp was the son of Russell B. and Doris M. Carver DeCamp. He married Carolyn Sue Wilson August 31, 1960 in Seymour and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Robert (Paula) and David (Michelle) DeCamp, both of North Vernon; brothers Curtis (Kay) DeCamp of Virgin Islands, and Richard DeCamp of North Vernon; sisters, Joyce (Charlie) Campbell and Dianne (Charlie) Smith, both of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Abigail and Sarah DeCamp, both of North Vernon.
Mr. DeCamp was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Carroll DeCamp; and sister, Doris Ann DeCamp.
Memorials may be sent through the funeral home to Jennings County Co-ordinating Council.
