Ruby Francis Dudgeon, 89, of North Vernon, died Jan. 30, 2021, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Private funeral services will be conducted at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery. Mrs. Dudgeon was a homemaker, who enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, and her church. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, where she taught Sunday school. Born Nov. 14, 1931, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, Mrs. Dudgeon was the daughter of Forrest and Mary Lou Page St. Clair. She married James Thomas Dudgeon March 13, 1948, in Lebanon, Kentucky and he preceded her in death Dec. 20, 2007. Survivors include her sons, Terry Joe Dudgeon of North Vernon and James Steven (Donna) Dudgeon of Indianapolis; brother, Billie Dean St. Clair of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and sisters, Youla Mae (Conley Gay) Caudill of Taylorsville, and Linda Kay Harrington, and Phyllis (Bennie) Humphress, both of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and grandchild, Gabrielle Dudgeon (Andrew) Satornino of Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Dungeon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Gary Wayne Dudgeon; brother, William "Wayne" St. Clair; and sisters, Judy Townsend, Betty Jean Kirtley and Carolyn Hilgemeier. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Kidney Foundation.
