Edna Louise Case, 72, of Deputy died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021, at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Case was a homemaker, a babysitter, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, fishing off the bank, and she loved hummingbirds.
Born August 21, 1948, in Madison, Mrs. Case was the daughter of William and Janet Brinson Thompson. She married Donald "Donnie" Case January 18, 1969, in Deputy and he survives.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Gregory (Peggy) Case of Deputy; daughters, Regina (John) Craddock of North Vernon and Donetta (Mark Green) Case-Newland of Paris Crossing; brothers, Larry (Mary Kay) and Jackie (Twilla) Thompson, both of Madison; sisters, Carolyn Dean, and Norma (Briton Hunt) and Mary (Steve Humphrey) Thompson, all of Madison, and Janice Faye Eggers of Belleview; grandchildren, Ryan (Brooke) Chaille of Trafalgar, Heather (Shane) Howard and Steele Case, both of North Vernon, and Dustin (Joe Wagner) Branum of Indianapolis; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Case was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Case; and brothers, Robert "Bobby" and Harvey Thompson.
Memorials may be made in honor through the funeral home to the Joy of Giving.
