Lloyd "Big Dave" Logan, 79, North Vernon died at Columbus Regional Hospital Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Funeral service will be held in New Castle.
Mr. Logan was a 1960 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School in New Castle and a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was had been a manager at Danner's, 3-D Department Stores, and TG&Y Stores and owner of Logan's Baseball Card Shop and Abby Auto Glass in Nashville, Tennessee. He had also worked at American Mobile Auto Glass in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Logan was a huge sports fanatic and loved collecting baseball and basketball cards. He enjoyed cheering on the Colts and Indiana Hoosiers as well as playing fantasy sports. Mr. Logan loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He was a member of the Vernon Presbyterian Church.
Born October 15, 1941, in New Castle, Mr. Logan was the son of Elwood and Rosie Logan. He married Ruth Hunt September 17, 1967 in Vernon and she survives.
Other survivors include his children, David and Doug Logan of North Vernon and Lisa (Bryan) Gilpin of Versailles; grandchildren, Kameron Logan of Port Orange, Florida, Konner Logan of Indianapolis, Kristopher and Izzy Logan of North Vernon and Kaidyn and Eli Gilpin of Versailles; sisters, Brenda Bulmer, Susan Logan, and Mary (Wayne) Malone, all of New Castle.
Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his parents.
