Michael Eugene Daugherty II, 45, of Bloomington died Sunday, November 15, 2020, at his residence.
Private burial will take place at Holton Cemetery in Holton. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time.
Mr. Daugherty was a 1993 graduate of Jennings County High School and attended Vincennes University in Vincennes. He worked for Burns Construction in Indianapolis for two years. He enjoyed remote control cars, watching football and racing, playing solitaire on the computer, and listening to country music.
Born January 14, 1975, in Columbus, Mr. Daugherty was the son of Bessie Mote Mullins and Michael Daugherty Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Bessie (Scott Jones) Mullins of Bloomington; brothers, Jason Daugherty of Butlerville and Dallas (Jordan) Mullins of Indianapolis; and sister, Tiffany (Justin Schuder) Bryant of Scipio.
Mr. Daugherty was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Robert and Chelsie Daugherty, Anita Bond, Gertrude Allee, and Frank Mote.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
