Brian Keith Colber, 62, of Madison, formerly of Deputy, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 7:25 a.m. at Norton health Care in Louisville, Kentucky.
Private family funeral services will be Friday, September 25, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Hanover. Mike Searcy will officiate. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison. Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2020, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Colber was a 1976 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and had worked at U.S. Shoe Corporation in Madison, at Arvin Meritor, and with AWS in Hanover. He enjoyed being a coach to many of children's sports teams, fishing, traveling, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and collector of Hot Wheels cars. Mr. Colber was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Born July 27, 1958, in Madison, Mr. Colber was the son of William Edward "Bub" and Emma Lou Walker Colber. He married Dianne Denise Reasor December 165, 1978, in Charlestown and she survives.
Other survivors include sons, Jesse and Travis Colber, both of Madison; daughter, Brittany (Daniel) DeLucio of Madison; grandchildren, Trenton, William, Katlyn, Chance, and Vanessa Colber, and Zoi and Axel DeLucio; brothers, Robert Colber of Hanover, Brent (Debbie) Colber of Madison, and Wiliam (Cheryl) Colber of Lavonia, Georgia; and sisters, Elizabeth Jewell of Madison and Shannon Konkle of Deputy.
Mr. Colber was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Robert and Rosa Walker and William and Mary Colber.
