Larry Schultheis, 72, of Seymour died Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Funeral services will were Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour. Father Dan Staublin officiated.
Mr. Schultheis retired from Cummins Engine Company after 31 years and drove City Bus 123 for four years and for Poynter's Automotive group for 20 years. Mr. Schultheis was also an IHSAA official. He was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where he was treasurer, and a charter member of the Elks Club. Mr. Schulthies was an avid bowler and had bowled several 300 point games. He loved fishing, enjoyed golf, and was an avid Notre Dame fan.
Born January 8, 1948, Mr. Schultheis was the son of Francis and Irene M. Sandhage Schultheis. On September 30, 1967, he married Jacque Dye at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; children, Jody Ann Kaufman and John Schultheis; grandchildren, Blake Schultheis and Sarah Kaufman; two great grandchildren; and sister, Wilma (Steve) Wieneke.
Mr. Schultheis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Schultheis; and sister, Norma Schultheis.
