Michael Irvin Allman, 71, of Vallonia died at 10:13 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Jean Pogue officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 14, 2020, from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial, with full military graveside rites, will take place at Vallonia Cemetery.
Mr. Allman was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Rust Construction as an excavator. He also drove trucks for St. John's Trucking, JayC, and Boknecht's and had also worked for Wal-Mart Distribution. Mr. Allman enjoyed horseback riding, four-wheelers, and riding his Harley Davidson with the side car.
Born November 8, 1948, Mr. Allman was the son of Irvin and Kathleen Ratcliff Allman. He was raised by his grandparents, Frank and Bessie Ratcliff.
Survivors include his companion, Lisa Newkirk of Vallonia; son, Roper Allman; brother, Steve Allman; and sister, Connie Timbers.
