James Edgar "Ed" Goodin, 54, Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre
James Edgar "Ed" Goodin, 54, of Lexington died Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 9:25 a.m. at his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 7 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of services Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
Mr. Goodin was a 1983 graduate of Southwestern High School where he was on the wrestling team. He had worked for 19 years at Hilex as a machine operator and for the past three years he worked in assembly at Rotary Lift in Madison. Mr. Goodin loved fishing, hunting, and being with family.
Born June 21, 1965, in Madison, Mr. Goodwin was the son of Johnnie and Jeanette June Zearing Goodin. He married Mary L. Hartwell in Scottsburg October 18, 2015, and she survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Katie (Blake) Hymer of Irvine, Kentucky; James (Tina) Goodin of Scottsburg, Joshua (Kelsey) Goodin of Lexington, Amanda (Chris) Walker and Tyann (Mark) Emily, both of Crothersville, and Aaron (Andrea) Wood of Seymour; grandchildren, Taylor, Paige, Isaac, Abigail, Kelsey, Eric, Mason, Jocobi, Jordy, Avery, Reagan, Brier, and Layne; and brothers, John and Mark Goodin, both of Madison.
Mr. Goodin was preceded in death by his parents.
