Kay (Catherine) Ellen Ford Baugh, 69, of Franklin, formerly of North Vernon, died Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Greenwood Franciscan Hospice House.
Graveside services were Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Vernon Cemetery. Rev. James Gentry and Rev. Marvin Sweet officiated. Indiana Funeral Care in Indianapolis officiated.
Mrs. Baugh had attended Purdue University and DePauw University and was an elementary teacher for over 30 years with most of her teaching career being in the Jennings County School Corporation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in North Vernon where she gave the children's sermon for many years and also sang in the church choir. Mrs. Baugh enjoyed spending time with family, friends, cooking, and traveling.
Born May 24, 1950, in Indianapolis, Mrs. Baugh was the daughter of Robert H. And Clara Hofstetter Ford. She married Dan R. Baugh January 20, 1973, and he survives.
Other survivors include her sons, Darren (Debra) Baugh of Greenwood and Corey Baugh of Elizabethtown; mother; and grandchildren, Lauren of Indianapolis, Kate of Elizabethtown, and Ethan, Alexander, and Anna of Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Kay and Dan Baugh Scholarship Fund at the Jennings County Community Foundation, St. Jude Hospital, or First United Methodist Church of North Vernon.
