Steven "Luedy" Luedeman, 66, Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home
Steven "Luedy" Luedeman, 66, of North Vernon died 9:15 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2020, at SouthPointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2020, at Hayden Cemetery in Hayden. Rev. Dan Corbin will officiate. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Luedeman was a member of the Train Collectors Association and enjoyed being an American Flyer Train Collector. Being an outdoorsman, he loved hunting mushrooms, picking blackberries and gardening as well as going to flea markets and antique stores. Mr. Luedeman also liked baking and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Born October 30, 1953, in Seymour, Mr. Luedeman was the son of Clyde and Rita Burgmeier Luedeman. He was united in marriage to Joann Schwanholt April 14, 1990, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include son, Steve (Jamie) Luedeman of North Vernon; daughters, Shannon (Isaiah) Tyler of North Vernon and Jaimee Luedeman of North Vernon; brothers, Tony, Larry (She), and Tom (Dorothy) Luedeman, all of Hayden, Jerry (Teresa) Luedeman of Scottsburg, and John (Missy) Luedeman of Seymour; grandchildren, Shacey, Brooklyn, and Braden Root, Aiden Sanders, and Deeandra and Samantha Luedeman.
Mr. Luedeman was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Tori Root.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
