William E. "Bill" Dailey, 88, Voss & Sons Funeral Service
William E. "Bill" Dailey, 88, of Seymour died Monday, January 20, 2020, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service of Seymour at Redeemer Lutheran Church Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 10 a.m. Rev. Andrew Currao and Rev. Joseph Barlau will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday, January 24, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Mr. Dailey was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he was a cryptographer. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and camping.
Born in Cortland, Mr. Dailey was the son of Arthur and Opal Meadors Dailey. He married Agnes Percival Dailey April 5, 1980, and she survives.
Other survivors include children, Bill (Linda) Dailey, Penny (Dan) Johnson, Mark (Sharon) Percival, Kris (Bill) Knott, Julie (Roger) Wehrkamp, and Jenny Watson; grandchildren, Shawn (Natalie) and Jordan (Lisa) Dailey, Cassandra (Robert) Willis, Amberlee (Jared) Johnson, Bethany (Danny) Lewis, Candace (Alex) DeWitt, Danika and Eliana Johnson, Kandle Hall, Jeremiah (Brittany) Percival, Karen Isaacs, Bill (Suzy) and John (Kenyahna) Knott, Libby (Jason Enrique) Followell, Wendy (Grover) Mellencamp, and Nathan Watson; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Fern Engle.
Mr. Dailey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Lewis Dailey; and sister, Marietta Hazelett.
Memorials may be written through the funeral home to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center, or Hospice of Schneck Medical Center.
